Subjects Taught

I graduated in the Fall of 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Jacksonville State University.

This is my fourth year teaching but I have several years of experience working with students. I have worked with Coosa High School in Rome, GA, Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, AL, and I did my student teaching with the Weaver High School Band in Weaver, AL. While working with the Weaver High School Band they won 2 Best in Class awards and a Grand Championship. In addition to working at Arbor Station, I am also employed by the two time world champion Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps where I work on the management staff.

I am originally from Rome, Ga where I lived until I moved to Jacksonville, AL in 2007 to attend college. While at JSU I was a part of the world famous Marching Southerners, the JSU Symphonic Band, and the JSU Wind Ensemble. I was a brother of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia where I held positions as Secretary and Assistant Fraternal Education Officer. During 2009 I was a member of the two-time World Champion Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps from Madison, WI and competed all summer across the country getting to perform in professional football stadiums like Denver, Atlanta, Buffalo, and Indianapolis. During the Summer of 2014 I rejoined the Madison Scouts but this time as a part of the management staff.

I am very excited to start year four here at Arbor Station. I look forward to teaching your children all about music and I hope to have some really great programs and a great school chorus.
