(5) Visiting the Media Center

Students can visit us each week in

whole class groups or in small groups .

We study library skills and

check out books. Individual classes will be

working on special projects

in all subjects,

alphabetical order, table of contents,

genres of literature, and

use of reference materials-

dictionary, thesaurus, almanac,

encyclopedia, and periodicals.

We have many new titles. We are

updating our nonfiction section,

as well as adding new fiction series,

and new early readers.

All of our new books are AR books.

Students: be sure to choose a

book within your AR reading range.
